Curtis Cannata

President

Curtis Cannata is the founder and managing partner of C3 Benefit Strategies. With over 22 years of experience in employee benefits and consulting, his main focus is helping employers design, implement and manage customized programs that control costs rather than shift them off to employees.

Curtis works closely with business owners, Human Resource professionals, C-level executives and Government contractors in helping identify inefficient and wasteful spending within their benefits programs, HR/technology systems and retirement plans. Over 70% of employer plans experience a negative trend on claims during the first year and subsequent plan years.

Curtis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Florida State and a GBA designation from Pennsylvania Wharton School. In his spare time, Curtis enjoys working out, playing golf, mountain biking, SUP and skiing.

Abe Emery is a long-time HR professional with over 40 years of experience in single and multi-facility corporations, including manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, and construction services. Areas of positive employee engagement have been designing, re-vamping and implementing strategic HR systems to be in line with the organization’s operational goals. Abe has installed world class employee benefit programs that help attract and retain the best employees while offering significant reductions in costs for the company. Abe’s specialty is solving negative employee concerns before they become major issues. Abe holds bachelor’s degrees from Grand Valley State University and the University of Michigan in Advanced Labor Relations. In his spare time, Abe enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time with his wife and 13 grandchildren.
